Hey, my friend. This is Fiona.
Recently, I’ve been thinking about one question:
In today’s world—full of material abundance and overwhelming AI-driven information—what is the scarcest resource?
My answer is: Attention.
We all have the same 24 hours a day, yet somehow it never feels enough. Why?
Because after 8 hours of sleep and working hours, the amount of attention we can spend on any piece of information is extremely limited.
For ordinary people like us, attention is the most valuable resource.
And the amount of truly focused time we have each day is even smaller.
So here’s something I’ve realized:
We should “sell” the best hours of our day to ourselves.
Use our limited brainpower on things that actually help us grow.
Spend that time learning something valuable.
Today, let’s take a look at this solder paste thawing machine.
Background
A customer recently asked us about a practical solder paste thawing machine with MES integration.
Customer Requirements & Concerns
- CE declaration required
- English control panel interface
- Able to hold both small jars and long cartridges
- MES connection required
Key Question
How can the thawing machine connect to the customer’s MES system?
They are using Aegis FactoryLogix and want to understand the MES output details.
Our Solution
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| CE declaration | Yes |
| English interface | Yes |
| Capacity | Compatible hold both solder paste jars & long cartridges (Max: Φ47 × 330mm) |
| MES connection | Yes |
| How to thaw solder paste properly? | Input frozen solder paste → Set time warming solder paste→Close the cover→ Start thawing → Time is up → The corresponding workstation display an “Open” button on interface. → Click the “Open” button and enter the correct workstation operation password (original password: 123) → Solder paste pops out → Take out solder paste |
| Can stirring or mix solder paste directly without warming? | Cannot. Direct stirring can have some effect on refluxing, but it’s not complete 100%. To the naked eye, the refluxing effect might not seem different, but under X-ray or under a 3D microscope, you can see many bubbles. |
| Why solder paste needs thawing? | For optimal welding performance in production, such as printability, anti-collapse properties, and release properties, natural warming can prevent these problems from occurring. |
| How long to thaw solder paste? Solder paste thawing time and temperature | It depends on Temp your storage. Normally 5-10 degrees storage and then warm it to room temperature. |
| Can solder paste be used without thawing? | Cannot. |
| What function does the solder paste warming machine have? | Please see below our models |
| Feature | FS-SPWUP-W5 | FS-SPWUP-W10-PLC | FS-SPWUP-W5-MES / FS-SPWUP-W10-MES |
| Working Positions | 5 | 10 | 5 or 10 |

MES Integration Methods
Method 1:
The machine installs software and generates daily data files.
Your MES system can directly read the Excel files.
Method 2:
Enter your MES address and password directly into the machine’s software interface.
I once read in a book:
Anything that truly works—whether a question or a product—is simple and easy to understand.
I hope this short explanation helps solve your current concerns.
That’s my mission.
